1. Objective:

Through this policy, the Company aims to attract quality talent through employee networks while maintaining a structured, transparent, and fair referral process.
2. Scope:
The scope of this Referral Policy covers all aspects of the company's employee referral program, including eligibility, processes, rewards, and guidelines. It applies to all current full-time employees who wish to participate in the program by referring qualified candidates for open positions within the company. The policy defines who can refer candidates, how the process works, what constitutes an eligible referral, and how employees will be rewarded for their successful referrals.
3. Referral Rewards:
Referral bonuses will be provided for referred candidates who successfully complete their probation period and are confirmed with the Company.
The reward amount will vary based on the position and market demand.
Each position being put up for referral will be communicated through official referral flyers or internal communication channels
The bonus will be paid after the referred candidate successfully completes the required probation period.
4. Eligibility Criteria:
All full-time employees of the company are eligible to participate in the employee referral program, except for:
Any employee involved in the recruitment or selection process for the referred position.
Temporary staff, contractors, and interns are not eligible to participate.
Hiring managers
5. Referral Submission Process:
Referrals can be submitted only for candidates personally or professionally known to the referring employee. Merely downloading a profile from LinkedIn (or other similar platforms) after a brief chat will not qualify for referral. If it is found that no prior professional or personal relationship existed between the referring employee and the referred candidate, the Company reserves the right to recover the paid amount and initiate disciplinary action.
Referral Submission: Employees must ensure that all necessary details are shared at the time of referral, including the candidate’s updated resume, contact details, the position applied for, and the referrer’s details. The referral must be submitted through the company’s designated referral platform or via email to referral@pinnacleinfotech.com, along with the candidate’s resume and any other relevant information.
Referrals must be made only for active and open positions with the given timeline in the flyer.
Employees can refer candidates only when a referral flyer or communication has been officially circulated by HR through HR communication channel or HROne portal.
6. Selection Process:
Application Review: HR will review the candidate’s qualifications against the relevant open position(s) to assess suitability.
Shortlisting & Interview: If shortlisted, the referred candidate will undergo the standard recruitment process, including interviews, similar to all other applicants.
No Guarantee Clause: A referral does not guarantee shortlisting, an interview, or final selection.
Evaluation Criteria: All candidates will be evaluated based on role fit and business requirements.
7. Ineligible Referrals:
Candidates who have already applied to the company within the last 12 months through any channel such as LinkedIn, Naukri, the official Careers Website, etc. (regardless of whether their application was successful or not) are not eligible for a referral bonus.
Referrals will be deemed invalid if the referred candidate has already been sourced through other recruitment channels, such as any job portals or direct applications to HR.
8. Referral Bonus Payout Timeline:
The referral bonus will be processed in the payroll cycle following the successful completion of the probation period.
9. Confidentiality Clause:
All hiring decisions and candidate evaluations will remain confidential and at the sole discretion of the Company.
10. HR Authority Clause:
The HR Department reserves the right to interpret, modify, or make exceptions to this policy based on business requirements.
11. Program Guidelines:
Referral Bonuses are subject to income tax in accordance with local laws.
The company reserves the right to change or discontinue the referral program at any time without notice.
Referring employees must act in compliance with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and avoid any discriminatory practices when making referrals.
Referrals must be for open, active positions that are posted within the company at the time of the submission.
Referral bonuses will only be awarded for new hires. Rehired employees or contractors will not qualify.
12. Program Abuse:
Any attempt to manipulate the program or refer candidates in a manner that violates company policies (e.g., referring unqualified candidates, creating multiple accounts, etc.) will result in the disqualification of the referral and may lead to disciplinary action.
In the case of conflicts or disputes about eligibility, the decision of the HR department will be final.
13. Communication:
Employees will be informed of any changes to the referral program through official internal communication channels, including email, HROne, HR communications, and company announcements and the company website.
HR will provide periodic updates on the status of the referred candidates (e.g., interview stages, offer extended, etc.), but the specifics of hiring decisions will remain confidential.
